Jessica Steen

 Jessica Steen is a Canadian actress, appearing in film and television, noted for her appearances in Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future, Homefront, Earth 2, Armageddon, Left Behind: World at War, NCIS, Flashpoint and the CBC series Heartland.



 



 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was born in Toronto (Ontario) to Joanna Noyes, an actor, and Jan Steen who is a actor and director. She is of Dutch and Scottish descendance.



 



 Steen is also an animal rights activist and environmentalist, apart from her business in entertainment. She supports David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee, as well as other organizations. She is a qualified diver, and is skilled in a variety of circus arts like fire-twirling, stilt-walking and fire-twirling.
